Dumbarton Oaks Fellowship House adaptively reuses a commercial building in Georgetown Washington, DC into 25 dwelling units for Fellows. Housing is configured into studio, one bedroom and two bedroom arrangements, with multi-use spaces at the upper and lower levels of the building to support fellowship life. The redesign and renovation of the building interior includes additions at the west and north to optimize the functionality and flexibility of the housing. The Landscape Design will integrate the hardscape, architecture, and planting areas to improve the appearance and function of the property and create flexible indoor/outdoor living spaces. The building has received a LEED Gold Certification.
