Ms. Wong received her Bachelor of the Arts in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. Her interests lie in the ecological design process, emphasizing the unique relationship between architecture and its environment, along with the local community. Integrated design, sustainability and urban conditions are among her top interests. With a liberal arts background, Ms. Wong enjoys experimenting with various software programs to realize a design, including Autodesk Maya, Grasshopper and ArcGIS. She is drawn to design on a global platform, and has studied architecture and urban development in Rio de Janeiro as a Mellon Foundation Scholar through the University of Pennsylvania’s Humanities+Urbanism+Design initiative. This interest also led Ms. Wong to spend two summers on an archaeological expedition in Turkey, where she created architectural drawings by hand for documentation, research and publication. Ms. Wong has worked in the architecture industry in Philadelphia as well as graphic design. She plans to pursue a Master’s in both Architecture and Urban Planning.
