Nandor Mitrocsak, AIA joined Cunningham | Quill Architects in 2008 as an architect and urban designer. Mr. Mitrocsak has more than five years of specialized design experience with large, complex projects, including mixed-use developments with a variety of residential, office, commercial, hotel, and civic components; urban infill; urban infrastructure; Transit-Oriented Development; and regional master plans. Mr. Mitrocsak’s award-winning projects have received wide recognition through the American Institute of Architects and Congress of the New Urbanism. His work has also been featured in Urban Land magazine and the Washington Business Journal.
Mr. Mitrocsak has lectured and juried at the University of Maryland, Corcoran College, and The Catholic University of America. He is an NCARB registered architect, and serves in the Washington, DC chapters of the American Institute of Architects and the Urban Land Institute. Prior to joining CQA, Mr. Mitrocsak worked at Urban Design Associates in Pittsburg, PA and Torti Gallas and Partners in Silver Spring, MD. He received his Master of Architecture from the University of Maryland in College Park.
