Cunningham | Quill Architects is seeking a full-time Office Manager. This is a role with significant independence and requires a manager who is a self-starter, schedule-sensitive, and one who is comfortable making decisions ensuring that the office runs smoothly. This position requires good interpersonal and presentation skills, office management experience, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Seated at the front desk, the Office Manager also creates the first impression people will have of the firm, so a friendly and professional demeanor is essential.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Working closely with the firm’s principals and senior administrative staff on marketing and accounting tasks as well as special projects
Scheduling and coordination of presentations and meetings as necessary
Helping with planning office and corporate events
Scheduling, management and implementation of continuing education opportunities for staff
Corresponding with outside parties including coordination and interaction with phone, computer, building technicians, and other office vendors
Managing office organization
Tracking and updating contacts database
Manage office equipment and phone system
Maintaining Shared Office Calendar (Outlook)
Supporting internal office communication
Tracking and ordering office supplies
Sorting incoming and preparing outgoing mail
Scanning, copying, sending and filing of documents
Answering telephones and greeting guests upon arrival
Assisting with personnel matters, including recruitment
Experience and Skills:
2+ years of administrative experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Organized and attentive to detail
Strong verbal, written and visual communications skills
Comfortable multitasking and dealing with unpredictable situations
Eager to work among a team of highly motivated individuals
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, PPT), and Acrobat
CQA specifically hopes to find a candidate with IT experience who will serve as the primary liaison with our outside IT consultant.
Previous experience in an office environment preferred, architecture or design firm a plus
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite programs including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator a plus

Architects / Interns
Cunningham | Quill is always interested in meeting talented individuals at all stages in their architecture careers. Candidates should at a minimum have completed a professional degree and be proficient in AutoCAD. Candidates with a Revit background will be given preference. Physical and 3D modeling experience is also beneficial in our collaborative environment.
