David is passionate about design, from classical to modern, regardless of the architectural idiom in which it is articulated. He believes a thoughtful design includes the integration of passive as well as active sustainability concepts, from the inception of an idea. David is an advocate for affordable housing through policy, but also promotes the idea of affordability via different housing typologies, a range rental and ownership options in new development. He supports an approach to urban design/neighborhood planning in which the community feels their input is valued and their ideas are reflected.
