Cunningham | Quill worked with the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC-PG) on a new sector plan of the Route 1 Corridor in College Park, Maryland. In an effort to redefine the pattern of development for this aging area of College Park, Cunningham Quill together with Dover Kohl & Partners, R. McGhee & Associates, Bolan Smart, Hall Planning & Engineering, and Urban Advantage, defined a new comprehensive vision and plan for the corridor, essential in guiding and determining its future as a premier urban boulevard. Conducting research, meeting with key stakeholders and citizens, and conducting a six day on-site Design Charrette, the Team produced a sector plan with M-NCPPC and the community, to develop a consensus on redefining this important urban corridor.
